We'll be exploring the sacred lives of the ancient Near East - from the gods of Mesopotamia to the tomb builders in Egypt. The schedule will be as follows: Jan. 15, 2019 Dr. Shy Gordin Food for Thought: Caring for the Gods in Ancient Mesopotamia Jan. 22, 2019 Dr. Domenico Agostini Zoroastrian Religion in Antiquity and Late Antiquity Jan. 29, 2019 Dr. Amir Gilan The Origins of Religion from a Hittite Perspective Feb. 5, 2019 Dr. Deborah Sweeney Religion in the Tomb-Builders' Village in Deir el-Medina Registration: 8:00AM, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 Place: Gilman 456, Tel Aviv University Lectures: 9am-11:30am with a half-hour break Cost: 150 NIS for whole seminar or 50 NIS per lecture
