Has the problem of creating a conclusive chronology and history of Jerusalem been resolved yet? In 2011, Tel Aviv University Profs. Oded Lipschits, Israel Finkelstein and Ido Koch presented their solutions in this Journal of Hebrew Scriptures article. Clearly, the inability to excavate and assess a collection of archaeological evidence from the Temple Mount area will continue to elicit questions about the holy city's definitive history.
