"The Problem with Jerusalem"

Has the problem of creating a conclusive chronology and history of Jerusalem been resolved yet? In 2011, Tel Aviv University Profs. Oded Lipschits, Israel Finkelstein and Ido Koch presented their solutions in this Journal of Hebrew Scriptures article. Clearly, the inability to excavate and assess a collection of archaeological evidence from the Temple Mount area will continue to elicit questions about the holy city's definitive history. Prof. Oded Lipschits will be revisiting the "Mound on the Mount" at IWC Archaeology's opening lecture on Oct. 24th. Let's see what's changed since 2011: http://bit.ly/IWC-Lectures://bit.ly/IWC-Mound-on-the-Mount

We are among the longest-running archaeology courses in the world!

For over 45 years, Tel Aviv University's Sonia and Marco Nadler Institute of Archaeology, and the Department of Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Cultures have been offering a course in the Archaeology of Israel to a mixed group of diplomats’ spouses, members of the International Women’s Club and local residents who seek quality lectures on the ancient history of Israel and the region in English.
